Laser Rejuvenation (Photo Facial)

Procedure

A series of Intense Pulsed Light and Laser treatment improves the appearance of rosacea, flushing, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture and photo ageing. The treatment also improves mild acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, melasma and diminishes fine lines.

Duration

15 to 45 minutes, depending upon the area. For optimal results, a series of 4 to 6 treatments are recommended at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks.

Anesthesia

None. A cool compress is applied before and following the treatment.

Hospitalization

As an outpatient.

Sequelae

Some local flushing may be noticed occasionally.

Recovery

No downtime. One can safely resume normal activities immediately.

Duration of Results

Variable. The improvement in the overall facial appearance is by creating a more uniform skin color and by smoothing the texture of the skin. However, the maintenance of the results requires periodic repeat treatments after the initial regimen is completed.
